Thank God it's Good Friday...especially this Good Friday. Tomorrow's GF is particularly special - it falls after April 15th and therefore, my firm is c.l.o.s.e.d. rejoice. did you realize that this only happens once every 7 years?...But really, they are all special. Truly GF is more than just getting off from work 1/7 yrs. Rather it is the day our Lord was crucified for you and I. The day in which Jesus died for the sins of the world. The day that He became sin for us. "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities. Upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace and with His stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5) It is very hard to fully grasp (and even beyond comprehension) the love that God has for us, the grace that He shows us everyday and the blessings He has given to me personally, despite failure every day. Friends, He died and was buried, but thank God, we serve a risen Savior! May we reflect on His sacrifice, burial and resurrection, and the salvation He offers this long weekend. Happy Easter!

i'm hoping to be productive on my day off. def more than i've done all week - i mean, i can count the things i've actually done this week on my fist. nil. i need some inspiration for outdoor activities and alternative fitness (to running) and am thinking Outside Mag. anyone get this? i want.
Also, i just got called up to the big leagues. more to come on that next week, so stay tuned...but totally stoked.
